Our Mission
This award-winning fall tradition in the heart of the City by the Sea is more than just a race – it’s a chance to make a difference.
By participating in the Amica Newport Marathon or Half Marathon, you’re not only achieving personal milestones but also supporting meaningful causes. This year’s race proudly supports four official local charitable partners, in addition to over a dozen other non-profits.
Through race proceeds, the Amica Newport Marathon and Amica Insurance directly contribute to these organizations, helping to strengthen our community.
Fundraise
We’ve partnered with GivenGain to enable non-profits to boost their fundraising income with tools that empower their supporters to fundraise on their behalf.

Since 1922, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center has continued to evolve in providing a safe and nurturing environment for the changing needs of Newport County residents who seek nutritional, educational, and social supports to improve the quality of their lives.
Newport County YMCA
The Newport County YMCA is an association of people of all ages, ethnic origins, religious affiliations and socio-economic levels. The basis of the association is founded in Judeo-Christian values and its purpose is to significantly improve and positively influence the quality of life and social well being for our members, our families and our community.
